The Montrose Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone was created in 2015 by action of the Houston City Council to create and extend capital improvement projects for the purpose of attracting the investment necessary to benefit and revitalize communities within the Zone. Roadway Schematic Layout
Review the detailed schematic layout for the Montrose Boulevard Improvement Project, spanning 0.5 miles from Allen Parkway to W. Clay Street. This comprehensive plan features expanded 4-lane configurations with medians, enhanced pedestrian access, and updated infrastructure that will help accommodate projected traffic growth from 24,022 to 29,021 vehicles per day by 2040.
