Montrose Parking Study Underway — Community Input Needed

The Montrose Redevelopment Authority/Tax Reinvestment Zone 27 has launched a comprehensive parking study to better understand existing parking conditions and identify strategies to improve access, mobility, and parking management throughout the district. The study will evaluate current parking supply, demand, and usage patterns and will help determine long-term policy solutions that support residents, businesses, and visitors.

As part of this effort, the TIRZ is inviting the community to complete a short online survey to share feedback and experiences related to parking in Montrose. The survey takes only a few minutes and will remain open through December 15, 2025.

In addition to gathering public input, the study includes an inventory of non-residential off-street parking (such as parking lots and garages) and on-street public parking. Together, the data collection and survey results will provide a clearer picture of how parking is currently being used and where improvements may be needed.

“The goal of this study is to ensure future decisions reflect the needs of the Montrose community,” said Montrose TIRZ Board Chair Matt Brollier. “Public participation is an important part of the process.”

Study findings and proposed recommendations will be presented to the Montrose TIRZ Board once complete, and results will be shared publicly at that time.

Residents, businesses, community partners, and stakeholders are encouraged to participate and share the survey with neighbors, tenants, and networks.
